Flying squad finds cars robbed in Kempton in Tembisa

Two stolen vehicles in Kempton Park were found in Tembisa by the Benoni Flying Squad on May 10.

Grant Giblin, the spokesperson for the flying squad, said members followed up information which led them to Tembisa at around 8pm where they found two abandoned vehicles that had been reported stolen in the Norkem Park area.

“A white Land Rover, which had allegedly been taken during a house robbery at around 6.45pm, was recovered in Phomolong Section

“At 11pm they also recovered a silver Nissan Qashqai at the RDP houses in Emoyeni Section. It had been hijacked from the owner around 8.30pm in Terenure,” Giblin added.

At this stage, no suspects have been arrested.
