The Small Enterprise Finance Agency (Sefa) will host breakfast sessions for small businesses and co-operatives at Emperors Palace on February 1 from 9.30am to noon.
This forms part of Sefa’s public awareness campaigns to inform small businesses about access to finance.
These sessions will seek to assist entrepreneurs in accessing finance, which will help them put their business in motion and create jobs within their community.
According to the National Development Plan, small enterprises such as these will create about 90% of jobs in the next few years.
It is against this backdrop that Sefa considers this engagement critical in order to ensure that entrepreneurs are informed about the financial support available.
Sefa is an agency of the Small Business Development Department which is mandated to provide access to finance for small businesses and cooperatives up to R5 million.
