Domestic workers conned by clever trio

NORKEM Park SAPS received several complaints in November regarding a trio targeting domestic workers at home.

Items such as jewellery, cellphones and laptops went missing from the owners’ properties after the domestic worker had allowed strangers into the house.

Capt Lesibana Molokomme, spokesperson for Norkem Park SAPS, said a man and two women, driving a white VW Caddy, operate together.

They ask permission to use the toilet and after they had left, items were missing. The registration number of the vehicle is unknown.

Molokomme urged residents to tell their domestic workers not to allow strangers into the home.

Anyone with information can call the station on 011 391 1814/5 or Det Const Makau on 073 918 7530.
