Panarottis customers of Festival Mall continue to support SPCA

For every order you make, R5 will be donated to the Kempton Park SPCA.

TUCKING into Panarottis on Wednesdays at Festival Mall has become an act of goodwill by its customers as a mere R5 will be donated to Kempton Park SPCA for every order placed.

Since the first Wednesday when the fund-raising began on September 9, patrons have joined Panarottis on this initiative, with a simple act of eating at the Italian eatery. And all this is in the name of benefiting animals across Kempton Park.

SPCA manager Kira Sparrow, who was elated at the beginning of the initiative, said the partnership was driven by the customers.

Sparrow is excited about the project and says it will be a great partnership for them. “What’s awesome is that it will be easy and convenient for people to take part; it won’t cost them anything,” Sparrow said.

Alisha Greig, the owner of the franchise, said the initiative would help reduce animal cruelty and promote better care for pets.

“We are such animal lovers. I have lots of dogs of my own so working with Kempton SPCA was a natural move. We have been involved with the SPCA before so this is also a way of playing a bigger role,” she said.
