Verb Conscious to wow South Africa with his talent

Birchleigh North Lesogo Masombuka making exceptional hip hop music as Verb Conscious.

BIRCHLEIGH North hip-hop artist Verb Conscious, real name Lesego Masombuka (19), invites locals to his lyrical genius.

Verb completed his matric in 2016 and plans to study for a law degree at the University of Johannesburg or Information Technology at Tshwane University of Technology in 2018.

Verb said he grew and matured lyrically from Grade 10. That’s how he was given the name Verb Conscious. It alludes just how much aware he is about his selection and use of words.

“I love music and for a long time I’ve been writing lyrics but didn’t record or performed of my music because as much as my parents are supportive, they want to see me excel academically. With time freed up, I was able to start recording my music and I released a mixtape called Pieces of Passion. My peers loved it and I uploaded it online,” said the youngster.

Verb said he wants those who love his music to give it a listen and experience great quality music produced and recorded by a local independent producer known as Zodiac.

“It’s great quality music that adults will definitely enjoy. The online reception has been so good that I’m releasing Pieces of Passion Two on October 9. Just like the first one, it will be available online on SoundCloud under my name. People who want a physical copy can acquire one from me by requesting a copy on Facebook: Verb.Conscious and Twitter: @Verb.Conscious,” said Verb.

For more details, Verb can be contacted on 062 334 2404.
