FOUR “gardeners” were arrested on February 29 for housebreaking.

“The suspects were driving a bakkie and were pretending to offer gardening services. They had hidden the stolen goods under the garden rubble,” explained Ndaba.

Police searched and arrested the four. Stolen goods included TVs, a music system and laptop with an estimated combined value of R20 000.

The four were detained at Sebenza Police Station and appeared in Kempton Park Magistrate’s Court on Thursday for the possession of suspected stolen goods and housebreaking,” said Ndaba.

“The case has been postponed for further investigations as the suspects have been linked to other cases in other areas.”

The four are aged between 38 and 42 years.
