Tradition at Maranatha starts with a ‘dong’

GRADE 8 learner Chené Kloppers is being belled into high school by Rebecca Morley (head girl) and Daniel Tondelli (deputy head boy sport).

Grade 8 learners at Maranatha Christian School were belled in one by one in the presence of staff, learners and parents at their first day at high school on Wednesday.

This tradition was started three years ago to welcome the learners into high school.

They will be belled out at the end of Grade 12.
