Student constables make dagga bust in Birch Acres

A man with 275,6 grams of dagga in his possession was apprehended by four student constables doing duty at Norkem Park SAPS on December 30.

According to Norkem Park SAPS spokesman, Capt Lesibana Molokomme, the arrest was made around 12.30pm. The four student constables, under the supervision of Sgt Phuti Maleka, arrested the suspect at an open veld on the corner of Kwartel Street and Bergrivier Drive in Birch Acres.

The members were doing patrols and stop and searches around the Norkem Park area.
